The NIKW was excited to kick off another great opportunity for its young members to get great experience building their confidence & skill in Kumite bouts. Chief Instructor Sensei Brunton commented; “We are really pleased to continue this initiative this year. Myself and head Kumite coach James, have seen vast improvements in those students who have firmly bought into this initiative. Higher confidence and skill is beginning to come through in these young people. We recognise the importance of the parents commitment to allowing their child to participate”
An added award this year will be most improved student. Head Kumite coach James Brunton awarded, Aysha Kusby with the title of most improved. Congratulations to her and everyone who competed.
